Privacy Policy for RH Toolkit

This Privacy Policy describes how the RH Toolkit Chrome Extension accesses, processes, and stores data. By installing and using this extension, you agree to this policy. Please note: This extension operates entirely locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers.

1. Data Access (Local Only)

RH Toolkit is designed to provide Quality of Life improvements for RaterHub evaluators. To function correctly, the extension needs to locally access and read:

• User Settings and Preferences: Such as your defined alert settings, timer preferences, and integration webhooks (e.g., Telegram or Discord URLs). These are read directly from your local browser storage.
• Browsing Context on raterhub.com: The extension reads elements and page states strictly on https://*.raterhub.com/evaluation/* (and related RaterHub domains) to detect task availability, timers, and interact with the required UI elements as per your configuration. This reading happens entirely within your browser and is never transmitted to us.

2. Data Processing

All operations and data processing occur strictly locally on your device (within your browser). The extension processes the page's HTML elements locally to:

• Auto-acquire tasks based on your settings.
• Inject UI elements like timers and floating boxes.
• Play local notification sounds when tasks are available or completed.
• Trigger external webhook notifications if explicitly configured by the user.

3. Data Storage

All necessary data to run the extension (your settings, preferences, and webhook links) is stored locally on your device using the Chrome browser's local storage API (chrome.storage.local).

• We do not use remote servers, cloud databases, or any external services to store your personal user preferences or settings.
• If you uninstall the extension or clear your browser data, this stored data will be permanently deleted from your device.

4. Data Sharing

Because we do not harvest or collect any data on our end, we cannot and do not sell, trade, rent, or share any of your information with third parties for commercial, advertising, or any other purposes.

The only external network requests made by the extension occur strictly under the following user-configured circumstances:

• Webhooks to Third-Party Services (Telegram / Discord): If you manually configure the extension to send notifications via Telegram or Discord, the extension will send a payload (containing task notification context) directly from your browser to the API endpoints you provided (https://api.telegram.org/* or https://discord.com/api/webhooks/*).

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your locally stored settings for as long as the extension is installed on your device. All data is deleted immediately and permanently when you uninstall the extension or manually clear your browser's local storage/cache. We do not maintain any backups or copies of your data.

6. Data Security

We prioritize the security of your information. Since all data is stored locally within the Chrome storage environment, it benefits from the standard security sandboxing provided by Google Chrome. We recommend keeping your browser updated to ensure the latest security patches are active.

7. User Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data. You can view, modify, or delete your settings directly through the extension's interface or your browser settings. As no data is sent to our servers, you do not need to contact us to exercise your right to access or delete your data.

8. Children's Privacy

The RH Toolkit extension does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
